On December 13th, 130 Orangeville and District Seniors enjoyed a traditional turkey dinner served by local youth and were entertained by the band Pool Side Revival.

The grant facilitated the donation of approximately 2,500 lbs of fresh food to Orangeville Food Bank through Community Harvest Days, significantly addressing food insecurity in Dufferin County.
With a Dufferin County Community Grant of $4850, Fiddlehead Care Farm was able to facilitate the “Co-Care Farmers” group life skills farming program to provide mental health support to over 100 children and youth in Dufferin County.
The Dufferin County Community Grant provided vital support to The Brave Canoe in its early days, enabling us to start hosting meaningful cultural events for the community.
With the grant money graciously provided to us, Youth Activists Inc. created our environmental/climate change awareness campaign, “Ignorance Isn’t Bliss,” educating youth about climate misinformation.
The Orangeville Fiddle & Stepdance Contest was able to host a traditional music event for a local audience featuring performers from across Ontario, thanks to the Dufferin County Community Grant.
With Community Grant, Primrose Elementary School was able to support our Nutrition Program, providing healthy and delicious snacks that enable our kids to focus on learning.
Headwaters Health Care Centre- TeleCheck partnered with Polycultural Immigrant and Community Services to provide wellness and social calls in additional languages.
We were able to grow our Pumpkinfest to provide an event for a diversity of people from the Shelburne community.
Superwoman became Canadian! This girls’ program originally established by YFC Netherlands, was adapted and prepared for its first launch in Canada, here in Dufferin thanks to Grant Dollars!
