Sharing our story

TeleCheck has expanded its wellness and social care calls by partnering with Polycultural Immigrant and Community Services to offer support in multiple languages. This collaboration has enabled the recruitment of new volunteers and broadened the program’s reach to clients speaking Bengali, Hindi, Portuguese, Punjabi, Urdu, and Yoruba.

The Dufferin County Community Grant has provided the opportunity for TeleCheck to enhance its outreach efforts through print materials, social media reach and in-person engagement. With their support TeleCheck has increased awareness and accessibility, allowing more residents to benefit from this essential service.

TeleCheck’s vision aligns with Dufferin County’s goals of enhancing community safety, fostering social connection, and improving healthcare access for older adults. It also strengthens their commitment to equity and inclusivity by enhancing immigration and newcomer services.

Dedicated to empowering older adults to maintain their independence at home, TeleCheck addresses the growing demand for services that support vulnerable populations. By offering personalized connections and system navigation assistance, TeleCheck provides the acute support needed to enhance independence and quality of life.
