Sharing our story

In 2025, Streams Community Hub continued our mission to ignite learning, inspire youth and enrich the community through the arts. The Dufferin County Community Grant is part of a three-year operational investment that strengthened the foundation underneath our programming and helped ensure families could access opportunities without cost being a barrier.

Because operational support sustains the whole organization, the impact shows up in real and practical ways: steadier program delivery, better resourcing, and the ability to offer meaningful financial assistance. In 2025, Streams awarded over $18,000 in scholarships and subsidies to support children and youth participating in programs such as camps, after-school classes, music lessons, and creative workshops. For many families, this support was the difference between “maybe next time” and “yes, my child can go.”

The County grant helped us keep doors open, supplies stocked, facilitators supported, and systems running, so we could focus on what matters most: children feeling safe, seen, and encouraged as they explore creativity and build confidence.
