DUFFERIN COUNTY 2022 COMMUNITY GRANT IMPACT STATEMENT

The Dufferin County Community Grant was a lifeline for us! The impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic were significant to our organization as we had to close our buildings for over 2 years. This meant we had no rental income or were able to raise funds, but the bills kept coming in.

The Dufferin County grant application process was clear, concise and straightforward compared to many other grants we’ve applied to.

If the Hockley Historic Community Hall & Church did not receive the funds from the Dufferin County Community Grant, we very well might have closed. This grant has allowed us to continue to keep our historic gathering places as part of Dufferin County and the surrounding area.
