| On March 21st, we hosted a FREE Volunteer Managers workshop presented by Volunteer Toronto. The workshop was well attended and very informative. Attendees learned to: – Identify areas of strength and areas of growth – Establish structures for a successful volunteer program – Execute practices to overcome seasonal recruitment challenges and increase retention – Describe the elements of effective, lasting volunteer training Volunteer Toronto has developed specialized volunteer management training to address the unique challenges facing volunteer managers across Ontario in five non-profit areas.
