National Volunteer Week is April 7-13, 2019
Volunteer Dufferin would like to acknowledge and remind everyone that April 7 to 13 is National Volunteer Week. We would like to thank all the volunteers in Dufferin County and Headwaters who to help make our communities engaged, resilient and supportive. We are eternally grateful for all that you do. Canada’s 12.7 million volunteers are the glue that binds communities and a lifeline for many organizations and people. Without volunteers, where would we be? Please take the opportunity to recognize all the people who contribute to the success of your organization and our community. For those of us who rely on volunteers, we often wonder what can we do for them. Volunteerhub.com has gathered an extensive list that might give you some ideas for what might be appreciated by your volunteers. The list is a great reminder of the fact that there are many opportunities that are both simple but meaningful. Are you looking to make a difference?
