The Orangeville Transit System

The Orangeville Transit System began operations on December 2nd, 1991. The service is currently operated by First Student Canada. Transit service is offered every day except Sundays and holidays. Designated seats will be available on the transit buses for use by passengers with a disability. These seats are located close to the front of the vehicles.
Who can use this service:
- Available to the general public
- Designated seats will be available on the transit buses for use by passengers with a disability. These seats are located close to the front of the vehicles. If you are sitting in a designated seat you must vacate the seat for a passenger with a disability.
- All municipal transit buses are accessible with transporter wheelchairs available in each bus.
Hours of Service
- Monday to Saturday from 7:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m

Cost:
- Senior/Student Monthly Pass: $30 or $1.50 per ride
- Adult Monthly Pass: $40 or $2 per ride
- Senior/Student 10 Ride Tickets: $13
- Adult 10 Ride Tickets: $17
- Children 5 and under are FREE
- Monthly passes for seniors, students and passengers with accessibility challenges are $25 per month.
- Orangeville Transit also supports the community by providing free rides to children for day camp- related activities at the Town’s Recreation Centres and for school-related activities for children with disabilities.
Scheduling a Ride:
- Purchase passes and 10 ride coupons at Town Hall, Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre and Alder Street Recreation Centre, the Orangeville Public Library on Broadway, the lottery kiosk in the Orangeville Mall and Total Convenience at Broadway and Fourth Street.
- Once purchased riders will go to the designated transit stops to catch a ride.
