Headwaters Trails System
What’s It About?
Championing an interconnected trails and active transportation system throughout the Headwaters and beyond.
What’s Next:
- Make area trails maps available online
- Create a Trail Counter Loan Program for Headwaters trails
- Certify 20 volunteers as CANBIKE safe cycling instructors

A pilot project to allocate funds to support innovation in Dufferin’s not-for-profit sector.

- Allocate an additional $60,000+ to innovative Not-For-Profit sector projects in 2011
- Develop recommendations for the future based on this project’s experiences

Collaborative Project Start-Up Support
What’s It About?
Acting as an incubator to collaborative projects that respond creatively to emerging community issues. HCIA is currently offering this support to the Gateway Community Centre.
